What I Had for Lunch Today: Chef's Salad

Today I made a salad of romaine lettuce tossed with a dressing of olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. I topped it with sautéed strips of "chicken," toasted walnuts, fake bacon bits, crushed red pepper, and grape tomatoes. For a beverage, I made an Italian soda of sparkling water, grenadine, and cream. For dessert, sliced strawberries with sugar and a splash of Triple Sec. After I took the picture, I decided to gild the lily and add some cream to the strawberries, too.
