Diary April 4, 1960: By Hook or By Crook

"Dear Diary--

Today I made popcorn balls, 7 of them, and they were good.

I practiced riding the bike, I'm getting better.

Miss Corcoran came in 1st per. I chose music for 8th grade (of course)

Miss Weissbrod is back.

It was so warm today, you didn't need a coat. Maria, Leslie, & I fooled around in the afternoon, and Maria came over for a while after supper. We invented a new cheer--10 lines. (about winning--by hook or by crook)"
