A Luminous Halo

"Life is not a series of gig lamps symmetrically arranged; life is a luminous halo, a semi-transparent envelope surrounding us from the beginning of consciousness to the end." --Virginia Woolf

Diary February 6, 1960: Fabian's Birthday!

Dear Diary
Today I went downtown with Gilda & Leslie. I bought candy for Mom & Dad, picked up my chain, bought thread, nuts, soda, etc., etc.
Fabian's Birthday. I went to Kathy's house from 6:00 to 8:00, we talked, laughed, danced, played records, read magazines, drank ginger-ale, and ate Kathy's cake.
Fun, Fun, Fun!
My exam (homework) from catechism was judged one of the best.
