Digs for Dogs
The clothing available for dogs is mostly tacky and frou-frou. There's only one site I've found online with cool canine clothes, chiwowwow.com, but the stuff is $$$$. If Taz has to start dressing up--in snowboots or any other gear--I think I'm going to have to make her wardrobe myself to my own specifications.
Chiwowwow uses vintage t-shirts to make most of its clothes. Who doesn't already have a crapload of t-shirts cluttering up some drawer? I found a too-small tee and tried it on Tazzy to see if she'd even accept a piece of clothing. It hampered her movement somewhat (not being tailored properly yet) and she bit at it a little. But overall she was less antsy than I would've thought.
This shirt has a Dr. Seuss "green eggs and ham" theme. Very appropriate for a Springfield doggy. Too bad the museum guards won't let her anywhere near the Dr. Seuss memorial.
