A Luminous Halo

Thankful

Today is Thanksgiving. I'm thankful that almost all of my family is gathered together today, along with others very dear to me. I feel fortunate that I like my family so much, and they seem to return the affection. I'm thankful that I've got such a cool job, and that I can do it sitting in my pajamas, eating cookies and listening to punk rock, with my dog curled up at my feet. I can even drink on the job!

There are really only two things I can think of that I haven't already got more of than I know what to do with. One is money, and the other I'll leave to the imagination of my readers.

Today cousin Joanne pulled out all the stops for a lovely dinner. I did nothing but show up, eat, and visit with my daughter, sister, cousins, and assorted other guests. A perfect holiday.
