Winter--Not!
Tomorrow is leaf pickup day in my neighborhood, so this afternoon found me doing my usual every-other-Wednesday yard cleanup, while Taz stood sentry on the porch. Then we had a snack on the glider, and finally a nice walk in the dusk, waving/wagging at the people sitting on their stoops. Bruce and Katie had little Mackenzie in her stroller, and Gina was eating Chinese takeout. Amir had been on the roof, trying to get a little tan, and was smartly red in front. This is what you call "almost summer."
This shot I took in Europe--I can't even remember exactly where--is, on the other hand, what you call "definitely not summer." I hope the little beagle survived her exile, and is happily sacked out on a comfy porch right now like her American counterpart.
