A Luminous Halo

Mr. Larry Duke to the Rescue

I was getting a little nervous about how the bills were going to get paid this month, but not to worry. The Universe has it under control. I just received this email notification, and not a day too soon.

Of course, sadly, I won't be able to keep the BMW. I'll have to sell it and use the money for mortgage, utilities, and so on. These babies are worth between $45K and $60K...that should keep me in heat and hot water for a few months.

Here's the email (eat your hearts out, fellow cybercitizens):

gee, let me think. a total stranger contacts me from the "bmw company"--which has an email address in POLAND--in a letter full of punctuation errors (like commas between the subject and verb of a sentence)--and asks me to supply him with personal information about myself and he will gift me with a $50,000 car out of the blue....

and i, an educated person, send this total stranger my personal information? and he actually sends me a car?? yes, that's what happened. definitely.
